Our products
Heat transfer fluids
Our heat transfer fluids (in the refrigeration industry, the terms cooling brine or glycol are often used for this purpose) are glycol-based fluids which have high thermal conductivity and offer frost and corrosion protection. They are used to transport heat and cold and can be used universally as antifreeze, for corrosion protection or as a cold agent.
Typical areas of application are, for example, in sanitary and heating technology, in solar systems, chillers, in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, etc.
Ion exchange resins
Ion exchange resins (cation exchange resin, anion exchange resin, mixed bed resin, selective exchange resin) are resins or polymers which are wetted with functional groups that exchange or replace ions in a liquid.
Typical areas of application are water softening, water desalination, metal refinement, recycling, chemical industry, food industry, etc.
Special chemicals
We can supply you with Glymes, classic solvents or other chemicals, as required.
Glymes are polyglycol dimethyl ethers that are used as efficient solvents and catalysts in chemical synthesis. In addition to the highly efficient solution properties, the Glymes compound class is characterized by its high chemical and thermal stability.
We and our partners would be also happy to supply you with standard solvents for chemistry and pharmacy, such as acetone, ethylene glycol, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), propylene glycol, etc.
Antifreeze / Coolant
Radiator antifreeze have a number of roles to play: In addition to the simple protection against frost, which prevents the cooling system from freezing and thus its destruction, the products protect the entire cooling system of the engine, in particular the radiator, the water pump and the cooling channels of the engine, from corrosion.

About us
Who we are
Coolex Chemie GmbH can look back on over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. In the areas of research and development, production, filling, distribution and quality management, valuable experience was gained in management positions both in large international and medium-sized companies.
Coolex Chemie GmbH defines itself as a manufacturer and dealer of products that stand out in comparison to competitor products with their excellent quality and - if possible - with environmentally friendly compounds and thus create added value for the consumer.
Milestones
Coolex Chemie GmbH was founded on 13.02.2014 and initially operated parallel to a employment relationship. From the beginning on, special chemicals such as glymes or borosiliconates were distributed.
Since mid 2015 the heat transfer fluids Coolex® N and L have been successfully sold domestically and abroad through a well-known German trading company, but since 01.07.2020 they can also be purchased directly through Coolex Chemie GmbH.
Since 01.05.2020 the activities of Coolex Chemie GmbH have been continued completely independently and in its own offices. Ion exchange resins, radiator antifreeze and the heat transfer fluid brand "Antifrogen®" have been added to the product portfolio.
On 26.01.2021 Coolex Chemie GmbH received its certification according to ISO 9001:2015 for the "Development, Trade and Sales of chemical Products" by TÜV SÜD. You can find the certificate in our download section.

In addition to our extraordinary expertise, we have very low overhead costs, which allow relatively low, fair prices for our products. Furthermore, we try to be as flexible as possible for our customers in order to be able to fulfil their wishes as fully and promptly as possible.
We are reliable, hard-working and maintain an open relationship with customers and our own employees.
