Coolex® N / Coolex® L

Coolex® - The clever product.

Non-toxic ingredients
Both Coolex® N and Coolex® L contain exclusively non-toxic, well chosen protection additives (so-called inhibitors), which reliably and sustainably protect the technical system / installation against corrosion.
Environmentally friendly formulations
The formulations of Coolex® N and L are formulated free of nitrite, nitrate, amine, borate, phosphate, silicate and heavy metals and contain no CMR substances. Good biodegradability completes the overall picture.
Excellent corrosion protection
The requirements of the international standard ASTM D 1384 are far exceeded. All corrosion tests were carried out by a renowned, certified and accredited independent laboratory.
Low water hazard class
Both fluids - and their aqueous mixtures - are classified in the lowest water hazard class (WGK 1).
Requirements for geothermal tubes, solar collectors and refrigeration systems fulfilled
Coolex® N and L meet the water management requirements for geothermal tubes and collectors, as well as solar collectors and refrigeration systems in accordance with §35 2 Sentence 1 No. 3 and Annex 1 of the AwSV.
REACH
All compounds of Coolex® N and L are registered or pre-registered in accordance with EU Regulation No. 1907/2006.
No dangerous goods
All Coolex® products are not classified as dangerous goods according to ADR / GGVE / GGVSEB.
RoHS
According to their formulation, Coolex® N and L contain no compounds that would be restricted under EU Directive 2011/65/EU (lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium (VI), polybrominated biphenyl, polybrominated diphenyl ether).

Coolex® N


Heat transfer fluid concentrate based on monoethylene glycol (MEG), for protection against corrosion and frost in technical applications.

Brief description

  • Color: Red
  • Concentrate for mixing with water
  • Permanent operating temperatures: approx. -35 to +150 °C
  • Free of nitrite, nitrate, amine, silicate, borate, phosphate and heavy metals
  • Minimum concentration: 20% by volume
  • Free of CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic), such as borate
  • Water hazard class (WGK) 1
  • Biodegradable and environmentally friendly
  • Extremely durable (OAT product)
  • Not suitable for food contact applications (see Coolex® L)
  • No dangerous goods according to ADR / GGVE / GGVSEB

Coolex® L


Heat transfer fluid concentrate based on 1,2-propylene glycol (MPG), for protection against corrosion and frost in food-related applications.

Brief description

  • Color: Green
  • Concentrate for mixing with water
  • Continuous operating temperatures: Approx. -25 to +150 °C
  • Free of nitrite, nitrate, amine, silicate, borate, phosphate and heavy metals
  • Minimum use concentration: 25% by volume
  • Free of CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic), such as borate
  • Water hazard class (WGK) 1
  • Biodegradable and environmentally friendly
  • Extremely durable (OAT product)
  • Suitable for food contact applications
  • No dangerous goods according to ADR / GGVE / GGVSEB
