Ion exchange resins

Ion exchange resins

Ion exchange resins are used, for example, to soften or fully desalinate water in mixed bed applications or to remove heavy metals.

We trade exclusively with quality products from the manufacturer DuPont, which promises a long service life and robustness of the resins in addition to the product variety.

The applications for ion exchange resins are manifold. In particular, they are used in water treatment and industrial production to remove anions or cations that interfere with a particular process, to accelerate the dissolution of poorly soluble compounds or, when used as a catalyst, to increase the reaction rate of processes.

Due to the numerous possible applications, we have selected only a few more popular uses and summarized them in a table.

If a resin you need is not listed in the following (not comprehensive) table, please refer to the complete overview (see download below) or contact us directly.
We have far more than the resins listed and will be happy to help you find the optimal application solution for you.

DuPont is changing its product portfolio of ion exchange resins since 2018. Sometimes only the name of the product has been changed, but sometimes the product has been replaced by a new one. To check whether the product you are looking for was or is affected by this, you can use the following link:
General note: For ion exchange resins, a very long delivery time (usually several months) must now be expected. Please take this into account in your operational planning.
